Journalist at centre of teen sex investigation

GARDAÍ are believed to be preparing to interview a prominent national newspaper journalist relating to an allegation of “unlawful carnal knowledge”.

Gardaí in Dublin began the investigation after it emerged there had been inappropriate contact between the adult and a teenage girl.

It is understood the investigation of the allegation began during the last month following a complaint from a family member of the girl.
