Threat to 55 building jobs

A TOTAL of 55 jobs at a well-known Tipperary construction materials company are under threat following the appointment of a receiver yesterday.

Workers arrived at Kelly’s of Fantane near Borrisoleigh at 8am yesterday to learn that receiver, Brian McHenry from HPC in Limerick, had been appointed to review the company’s affairs.

A company statement confirmed that “the receiver, along with the management and employees, will be reviewing the company’s operations over the next 24 hours and will look to fulfil company contracts”.
