An Taisce should be told to ‘get lost’, says councillor

AN TAISCE was accused of being anti-rural and anti-development after the planning watchdog lodged appeals against four one-off homes across Clare.

A county councillor PJ Kelly laid the charge after the Dublin-based HQ of An Taisce lodged appeals against a Clare County Council decision to grant planning permission for one-off homes in Ballyvaughan, New Quay, Feakle and also a site near Ennis.

The FF councillor said: “An Taisce should be told to get lost.”
