Transgender symposium

WATERFORD will host the first health and well being day for transgender people in Ireland next Thursday.

The symposium, called TransAction, is free of charge, and will feature guest speakers, well-being therapies and nutritional cooking classes.

It takes place at the Edmund Rice International Heritage Conference, Mount Sion.

The event is the result of a partnership between Waterford City Council, Waterford Area Partnership, LGBT diversity, Transgender Equality Network Ireland and TRANSE.
