Ghost expert to give address

IRELAND’S “original ghostbuster” will address a meeting in Cork tonight.

Cork Skeptics have invited Dr Jurek Kirakowski, a senior lecturer in Applied Psychology at University College Cork, to speak at their second public meeting at Blackrock Castle Observatory at 8pm.

Dr Kirakowski, who has described himself as Ireland’s “original ghostbuster”, ran several experiments during the moving statues phenomenon in the mid-1980s which cast doubt on any supernatural effects.
