HARSH weather conditions yesterday again caused a substantial delay in the trial of six men facing charges arising out of a series of incidents culminating in the death of two teenagers in Knocknaheeny, Cork.

The trial — due to continue yesterday morning — did not recommence until 2.40pm because a juror had difficulties in getting to the courthouse.

Yesterday the delayed juror was coming from east Cork. A similar delay occurred on Monday in respect of a juror coming from west Cork.
