Man denied bail over €36k of drugs

A YOUNG man who recently inherited a 135-acre farm was refused bail yesterday on charges related to the alleged dealing of €36,000 worth of cannabis resin.

Detective Garda Michael O’Halloran arrested Kieran O’Sullivan, aged 22, of 34 Innismore Grove, Ballincollig, Co Cork, and charged him with having cannabis for sale or supply at Ballyburden Road, Ballincollig, on Wednesday last, and having more cannabis resin at Lynch’s farm, Ballyburden on the same date.

Det Garda O’Halloran objected to bail on a number of grounds, including the seriousness of the offence.
