Golf club to eye survival options

A FINANCIALLY troubled Kerry golf club is set to close unless the 300 members can come up with a rescue formula.

Beaufort Golf Club members have been invited to an extraordinary general meeting tonight at which a number of options are due to be considered.

A proposal to lease the facility for a year from the owners, Galvin Developments Ltd, is expected to be put forward.
