IT’S being dubbed as “political speed dating” and will afford Cork youngsters the opportunity to rate their county councillors – even if they only have three minutes to do it.

‘Political speed dating’ for teens

A number of councillors volunteered to be quizzed by tomorrow’s voters at a special function in County Hall today to coincide with the EU Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.

Children from the Cork County Youth Council will first get the opportunity to get involved in a “brainstorming session” with councillors on combating poverty and providing social inclusion.
