A MAN from north Cork died yesterday in an accident while working with heavy machinery in woodlands in Co Limerick.

The man, in his 20s, was part of a crew moving a load of timber at woods in Kilmeedy, about 10km from Newcastle West.

The accident happened around 11.30am.
