Sisters brutally raped by their father attack HSE

THE HSE has been severely criticised by two sisters at the sentencing of their father, who repeatedly raped them even after they had been taken into care.

The 73-year-old man who brutally raped his young daughters and sexually abused his son was jailed for life yesterday at the Central Criminal Court.

Both daughters read out emotional victim impact statements detailing the effects of the abuse and criticising the HSE for letting it continue after they were taken into care.
