Chamber criticised over hefty seminar fee

THE People Before Profit organisation in Waterford city has called on the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce to “facilitate attendance” for local residents, community groups, trade unionists and local environmental activists at a regeneration conference.

The cost of the Waterford regeneration conference, organised and presented by the Waterford Chamber, is €151 for members and €193.60 for non-members.

The conference at the Theatre Royal on September 23, entitled Regeneration Opportunities for Growth, will focus on the regeneration of the city and country as a whole.
