Appeal for witnesses to stabbing

GARDAÍ in Galway have appealed for witnesses to an incident in the city in the early hours of yesterday morning in which a man was stabbed.

The row happened in Raleigh Row in the west inner-city around 3am when a man in his 30s was stabbed in the arm.

The man was treated at nearby University Hospital Galway before being discharged.
