Private hospital given green light as appeal delays mid-west critical care unit

PLANS for a private day care hospital have been given the green light by Limerick City Council.

The proposed development at the Parkway Shopping Centre will provide 100 construction jobs and 60 permanent jobs.

Dublin-based developers Lindat plan to develop the centre on the site of the closed down Park Bar which will be demolished along with a number of vacant retail outlets.
