Suspect device found in search

AN army bomb disposal team were called in by gardaí yesterday after a suspect explosive device was found in a search in Moyross.

Members of the Garda divisional search team along with armed gardaí commenced a search in Cliona Park at around 10am. They came across the suspect device along with drugs at an unoccupied house.

The area was cordoned off and a number of residents had to leave their homes for some hours.
