Scott Pilgrim versus the (Cine)world: Movie cast in town for premiere
Earlier yesterday, Cera was seen walking around Dublin city centre and buying a Beatles DVD from Tower Records.
The cast were happy to sign autographs for fans outside their city centre hotel.
Based on Brian Lee O’Malley’s comics, Scott Pilgrim is a totally different kind of superhero movie, relying on wit and nostalgia instead of explosions and secret lairs.
And though the film created a stir at this year’s Comic-Con (con- vention), it looks like the Scott Pilgrim crew ended up with some less-than-stellar numbers at the US box office this past weekend.
Raking in just $10.5 million (€8.2m), the film landed the number five spot for its opening weekend, beaten out by flicks like The Expendables ($35m) and Eat Pray Love ($23.7m).
