OVER half of parents admit their children are skipping meals, with breakfast the most likely meal to be missed.

According to the Kellogg’s Sorted for School survey, the likelihood of children to skip meals is higher among teenagers, with 67% of parents with a child in secondary school admitting their child does so, in comparison with 46% of parents of a primary school child.

The survey also found breakfast is the most likely meal to be skipped, followed by lunch and dinner.
