Crackdown yields €900k of cannabis

CLOSE to €900,000 in cannabis was seized by gardaí in a crackdown on drugs operations across Leinster.

Eight arrests were made, cars were stopped and searched and two cannabis factories were discovered in recent days during separate raids.

During one operation in the leafy suburb of Stillorgan, south Dublin, gardaí uncovered a drugs operation where the entire upstairs of a house was being used as a cannabis factory.
