MUNSTER rugby ace Ronan O’Gara has admitted he regrets investments he has made in recent years, but insists his off-field financial issues do not affect his game.

The 33 year old, who has 99 caps for Ireland, has also confirmed he is considering retirement from the international and club game in two years. In an interview with Today FM host and Irish Examiner columnist Matt Cooper, the out-half was asked what he intended to do when he hangs up his boots.

“A lot of us have invested heavily in property and we have seen what has happened so you have to be very careful and shrewd, and I suppose a few of us have made a few poor investments, so that is something we have to try and rectify and get over as the years go on,” he said.
