SUNSEEKERS in Cork can look forward to another hot summer on the cheap next year as Ryanair says it will re-install routes to the likes of Lanzarote and Malaga if costs remain the same.

In a dig at Cork airport, Ryanair’s deputy chief executive, Michael Cawley, said if the airline was offered cheaper costs at Cork it would introduce a string of new routes at the airport.

The airline said yesterday bookings on the sun routes from Cork did “very well” this year and it will likely continue offering the destinations to passengers next summer.
