Charity aims for 500 Cork sponsors

A CORK mother-of-four who sponsors several African children has urged parents to support a special charity appeal to recruit 500 child sponsors and help transform an African community.

Anne Fitzgibbon, from Bellevue Rise in Frankfield, has visited Tabu, one of her sponsored children in Tanzania, and said child sponsorship through the World Vision Ireland charity was an incredible experience.

“After each of my children were born, we sponsored a child through World Vision,” she said.
