The two underworld figures avoided arrest in Spain when a synchronised operation swung into action across Ireland, Britain and Spain last Tuesday morning.

Spanish authorities are expected to apply for a European Arrest Warrant for the two men, which will direct EU police and border authorities to arrest the pair on sight. The two are among a number of people still wanted by Spanish police, who have already arrested at least 22 people, including Kinahan and convicted drug trafficker John Cunningham.
