ROSIE REDDY sees her two granddaughters in children playing on the street and hears their voices in the excited squeals and giggles that escape from neighbourhood gardens.

Her home is at the back of the house where three-year-old Abby and four-year-old Mikahla lived with their mum and it’s an ever-present reminder of the joy they brought to her life.
