Parents of murdered Manuela to outline plans for foundation

THE parents of murdered Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo will be in Galway today to outline the plans for the foundation set up in her memory.

Brendan McGuinness, a publican based in Basle in Switzerland, has resigned from the Manuela Riedo Foundation which he helped set up.

A spokesperson for the foundation said that the press conference by Arlette and Hans-Peter Riedo will be an “opportunity to clarify matters of governance, accountability, legal status and remit”.
