Hospital visitor ban over virus

BEAUMONT Hospital in Dublin is banning all visiting to wards as part of its efforts to contain an outbreak of the winter vomiting virus, or norovirus.

A hospital spokesperson said: “This is being implemented in the very best interests of our patients and of visitors themselves. We are asking all intending visitors to respect this ban.”
