Transition year programme

MINISTER for Labour Affairs, Dara Calleary has launched the Health and Safety Authority Transition Year programme for students.

This follows formal ratification by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA).

The Transition Unit includes free teacher and student workbooks, a DVD and e-learning module. It aims to provide students with safety and health awareness for work experience, part time work and as preparation for the working world.
