Bruton’s ambitions no issue for Kenny in wake of Leegate

ENDA KENNY insisted he is not insecure about the ambitions of Fine Gael deputy leader Richard Bruton but said his party has “taken a knock”.

After a meeting of his front bench unanimously endorsed him as party leader, he admitted not everybody likes him but vowed to change the way he presents himself and loosen up.

“What I’m going to do now is be myself. And I’m going to speak out from my heart on the issues I believe Ireland needs for change,” he said.
