Gardaí seize €200k of cannabis

GARDAÍ have smashed another cannabis factory and seized plants with a potential street value of €200,000.

Officers from Meath and west Dublin raided a house in the Ashbourne area of Co Meath on Monday in what was a planned search.

A Garda spokesman said they recovered a “large quantity” of cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis herb, with a combined street value of €200,000, subject to analysis. The spokesman said cultivation equipment was also found in the house.
