Council to seize horses in estates

LIMERICK City Council is embarking on a major initiative to remove horses from green areas on council estates.

Horse owners, who cannot, or do not, wish to care for their horses can hand them up next Friday, February 12, under a day-long amnesty.

Three collection points will operate in Moyross, Southill and St Mary’s Park.
