Chilling chain text messages investigated

GARDAÍ are investigating chilling “chain text messages” which are reportedly being forwarded to random mobile phone customers.

A formal statement has been made to the Garda, who have indicated they will be contacting mobile phone company O2 to try and get to the source of the message.

A caller to the Gerry Ryan show yesterday outlined details of a message her friend had received. According to the caller, Sandy, the text message came through to her friend’s phone last Friday evening.
