Iris Robinson had affair with a teenager

IT’S believed Iris Robinson’s “inappropriate relationship” was with a then 19-year-old businessman.

It was revealed earlier this week that the 60-year-old former Democratic Unionist MEP and wife of the North’s First Minister, Peter Robinson, had a “brief” extra-marital affair and subsequently tried to kill herself because of the guilt.

Ms Robinson admitted she sought financial help from friends for a fledgling business project headed up by the young man.
