Lee: FG would not implement NAMA law

FINE GAEL will not implement the NAMA legislation if the Green Party pulls out of Government, the party’s newest TD, George Lee, has insisted.

In a direct message to undecided Green members ahead of their crucial vote later today on the party’s future in government, Mr Lee said: “The Green Party leadership is telling the party members, and particularly those against NAMA, that it’s pointless voting it down because if they vote it down, and go into opposition, then Fine Gael and Labour will come in and implement it anyway. That is not true.

“Fine Gael will not implement the NAMA legislation if the Greens pull the plug on government this weekend.”
