Hospital to restrict services for a day

THE Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin will restrict patient services for one day later this month in a bid to control costs.

The 80-bed hospital says it is having “a reduced services day” on October 27 — the day after bank holiday Monday.

Staff have been told to either take the day off as unpaid leave or use a day from their annual leave.
