Gardaí view CCTV after Junior Cert night rape claim

GARDAÍ in Limerick are continuing an investigation into claims by a Junior Cert student she was raped, midweek, near the city centre while out celebrating her exam results.

The 16-year-old alleged she was set upon near one of the busiest nightspot areas of the city.

The schoolgirl was allegedly dragged into a lane which links Thomas Street and Catherine Street by two or three men and raped.
