Crime boss suspected in latest killing

GARDAÍ suspect a notorious crime boss may be behind the murder of a serious criminal in north Dublin in a day in which another man was stabbed to death and a young man had a lucky escape in a gun attack.

The body of Paul Smith, 34, was found in a ditch in Ballough, near Lusk, shortly after noon yesterday.

It is understood the underworld figure, from Finglas may have kept horses in a field near where his body was found.
