Free mobile phone service blocks unwanted texts

A FREE mobile phone service has been launched which blocks unwanted texts, pictures and videos in a bid to combat bullying amongst children.

The service hopes to prevent hurtful messages being sent to children’s mobile phones from their peers and can be set up at the touch of a few buttons.

Launching the O2 initiative yesterday, Minister for Children Barry Andrews welcomed the new service and added that the use of modern technology in bullying was a concern.
