TAXPAYERS will be “crucified” for decades by the Government’s “gamble” to set up a bad bank for €90bn worth of toxic land deals, the opposition has warned.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny accused the Taoiseach of saddling the country with generations of massive debts with the National Assets Management Agency (NAMA) plan.

Mr Kenny claimed every family in the country was being “crucified” with the equivalent of another mortgage worth €45,000 each.
