Foundation to keep Manuela’s memory alive

A CANDLE flame flickered in front of framed photographs of murdered Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo as her parents launched a new foundation for rape and sexual assault victims in Dublin yesterday.

Hans-Peter and Arlette Riedo also made it clear from the start that the event was all about the foundation, not what happened to their beautiful 17-year-old daughter.

The Manuela Riedo Foundation aims to raise awareness among teenagers of the dangers of rape and sexual assault, while also giving support for the victims and their families.
