Iron Curtain falls on Sinéad as Ireland out of Eurovision

SINÉAD MULVEY and Black Daisy were Eastern Bloc-ed last night as once again Ireland was eliminated from Eurovision at only the semi-final stage.

In a heat dominated by Eastern European countries, the Irish contingent had it all to do in Moscow to beat what has now become a very partisan competition.

It all looked so promising as Black Daisy and Sinéad took to the stage early in the night to perform their song ‘Et Cetera’.
