NCT website still down two weeks after it crashed over demand

MOTORISTS are still struggling to apply for the NCT test online as the website is still down more than two weeks after it crashed.

The NCT’s online application system was inundated with requests after hundreds of motorists logged on to apply for NCT tests.

The increase in the numbers applying for the tests was in reaction to the introduction of five penalty points for drivers who do not have an up-to-date NCT certificate by May 1.
