25 low-emission buses for city in e6m spend

BUS ÉIREANN has introduced 25 new low-emission buses on Cork city routes as part of a e6 million investment.

Despite cutbacks under some areas of the Government’s Transport 21 programme, the company was able to deliver on its promise in recent weeks to introduce the top-of-the-range Scania buses on some of the city’s busiest routes including:

* The number 6 — Grange, South Douglas Road, Turners Cross to the South Mall.
