Garda honoured for work on sex abuse case

A GARDA working in Interpol’s child sex abuse unit received a special award at the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) conference last night.

Garda  honoured for work on sex abuse case

Detective Sergeant Mick Moran flew from Interpol’s headquarters in Lyon to receive the award in Athlone.

He is seconded from the gardaí to Interpol where he works in the human trafficking section, which is responsible for investigating child abuse and internet child pornography among other crimes.
