The arrest is being sought of 72-year-old Tom McGuinn, the owner of Mac Aviation, a company based in Drumcliffe in Co Sligo. His son Sean, a 40-year-old sales director, is also wanted by the US Department of Justice, as is the company’s commercial director Sean Byrne.

The three men are named in an affidavit by US officials for their alleged involvement in the moving of aircraft hardware into Iran through “front” companies, in contravention of an American embargo.
