Klass act: Myleene launches baby fashion
Myleene, 30, travelled to Dublin with her 13-month-old daughter, Ava, to unveil the range for newborns to three-year-olds in a boutique hotel, just off Baggot Street.
“As a new mum I have used my first-hand experience, with other mums in mind to help design a stunning variety of products,” said Myleene yesterday.
Little Ava travels everywhere with her mum, and during her short life has already visited more than 20 countries.
“Ava is the link that binds everything. She is the greatest job I’ve ever had and the hardest too,” said Myleene, a classically trained musician who first found fame as a pop star and has modelled for Marks and Spencer.
After narrowly missing out on being crowned Queen of the Jungle on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here reality show in December 2006, Myleene began building a successful career as a TV and radio presenter.
Earlier this year, she launched her first book about her pregnancy — My Bump and Me that quickly hit the bestseller list.
Her partner and father of their child, Graham Quinn, is from Dublin but did not travel to Ireland for the launch.
Earlier this month Myleene hinted that she might be returning to Ireland next year to get married — once the matter of a venue is settled between the two families.
For newborns, Baby K’s colour palette is primarily black and grey and softened with whites offering attractive essentials from sleep suits to all-in-ones.
