VIOLENT gun deaths which are the subject of Garda investigations were responsible for eight inquests opened at a coroner’s court yesterday.

The cases include that of apprentice plumber Anthony Campbell, who was shot dead as he worked at a house in Finglas.

The target of the attack was Martin “Marlo” Hyland, aged 39, who was also killed and Mr Campbell was an innocent bystander as he worked at the house in Scribblestown Park, Finglas on December 12, 2006.
