Murder hunt after victim named

GARDAÍ are looking to track down work colleagues and friends of a man brutally murdered in west Dublin last Friday.

Detectives have been able to develop lines of inquiry after they successfully identified the man on Monday after releasing his photograph to national media.

Shortly after the man’s photo appeared on evening television bulletins a number of people contacted the gardaí and identified him.
