HEARTLESS thieves have stolen a specially adapted laptop for a visually impaired young girl, which was part of an estimated €10,000 haul of valuable items taken in a spate of robberies in a Cork suburb.

The laptop was one of four computers stolen in robberies of houses at Matthew Hill Estate, Togher.

Thieves also helped themselves to two flat screen televisions, PlayStation consoles, PlayStation games, cash and a substantial amount of jewellery.
