Major portion of Sinn Féin’s €2.5m income donated from US

SINN FÉIN receives a huge chunk of its income from the US, it has emerged.

The party’s annual financial statement showed funds generated in the Republic and the North last year were both well up on 2006.

Income in the North stood at €1,348,199 in 2007, while the figure for the South was €1,235,659.
