Threat to bring back college fees ‘adding to worries of students’

STUDENTS facing an anxious wait for third-level offers will have the extra worry of whether or not they will have to pay college fees, it has been claimed.

The Labour Party spokesman on education, Ruairi Quinn, said the “threat of fees looms large” over those who received their Leaving Cert results yesterday.

“Most of those who got their results will now be awaiting CAO offers with some anxiety.
