Unhappy students can appeal

STUDENTS who are unhappy with their Leaving Certificate results can appeal to the State Examinations Commission (SEC), who will make the scripts available for viewing on Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30.

Unhappy students can appeal

Dissatisfied pupils must make an application to their school by next Tuesday, August 19, after which each candidate will be allocated one of three sessions in the morning, afternoon or evening on those dates.

Students can be accompanied by another person at the viewing, normally a teacher who can advise on whether there are discrepancies in the marking scheme.
